Patients who are symptom free and being seen for unrelated issues, will not be required to mask while in the waiting room.? Please note that pending their clinical assessment, physicians may still require patients to wear a mask while in the clinic rooms.

To ensure the best possible care for patients, our clinic?has returned to in-person appointments.? Patients experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, or those who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days, may be offered a virtual care appointment; however all other patients are?asked to attend the clinic for their care needs.??

Restrictions apply for virtual care.??Per provincial billing rules and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) Standards of Practice:

• Patients must be physically in Alberta at the time of their appointment;
• Patients must have valid Alberta Health Care insurance (virtual care is not available for patients insured by another province);
• Patients must be willing and able to attend a follow up in-person appointment at the request of the physician.

Per the CPSA Virtual Care Standards of Practice:

"Virtual medicine is to be used to optimize and complement in-person patient care.

Regulated members who provide virtual care are held to the same ethical and professional standards and legal obligations, and the standards of care remain the same, as they are in the provision of in-person care. Ideally, virtual care is a modality that should be thoughtfully used to promote continuity of care within the context of a therapeutic relationship. Regulated members providing virtual care need to be realistic about their ability to provide safe and effective care."

We reserve the right to refuse care should patients not be able to meet these requirements, or should they refuse the option?to be seen in-person.

Our multi-disciplinary team includes 7 x Family Physicians and 2 x Licensed Practical Nurses. In addition to our Family Practice, we also offer evening and weekend walk-in clinic hours; and are members of the Bow Valley PCN.

Ridgeview Medical Centre is looking for a dynamic physician to join our team. The schedule is negotiable; however the expectation would be an ongoing schedule of 3-4 shifts per week, including 1 x evening shift per week (offering same-day / walk-in clinic services) and rotating weekend walk-in / hospitalist coverage. Clinical privileges with Canmore General Hospital are a requirement of the position.
